DEQ Accessibility Statement

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality web site is being redeveloped with a goal to provide all users with a functional, accessible and interactive web experience. We are currently in the process of making all of our online resources as accessible as possible. In the meantime, if you encounter problems with any area of our site, please contact one of the Accessibility Compliance Representatives listed below. DEQ strives to ensure the accessibility of all electronic applications and publications to all individuals in compliance with applicable laws, including Oklahoma HB 2197 and Federal Section 508 accessibility laws.

If you use assistive technology (such as a Braille reader, a screen reader, TTY, etc.) and the format of any of our web site material interferes with your ability to access the information, please let us know and we will provide the information in a format compatible with your equipment.

To enable us to respond in a manner most helpful to you, please indicate your disability type, the preferred format for return correspondence, the web address of the requested material and your contact information. If you have any suggestions or tips that will help us serve you better with assistive technology, feel free to send us your suggestions, requests, and comments.

Although a variety of access technologies are available for use with the Internet, we recommend viewing our web site via Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher to provide you with the highest level of browser accessibility. The Microsoft Active Accessibility (MSAA) software is included with a "full" install of IE 5.0 and higher.

We recommend that users also download the latest version of Adobe Reader™ to view PDF files located throughout our web site: Version 7.0 and higher of this software is available and provides a number of features that improve access for users.
